St. Mary's GHS Athirampuzha an Aided School which belongs to the renouned Athirampuzha Forane Church, is situated in Kottayam District at Athirampuzha Panchayath St. Mary's GHS Athirampuzha glitters proudly in the legendary holy place of Athirampuzha by imparting knowledge to thousands and thousands of young buds. This alma mater was started in 1921 under the auspicious of SABS congregation with preparatory class and First Form. The children were provided with boarding facilities also. The first Manager of the school was Fr. George Ambiath. It was upgraded in 1927. Sri. C.A Paul was the first Headmaster of the school with gratitude we remember Rev. Fr. Devasia, the then Vicar of the school whose ceaseless endevour presented a new building to the school. The Silver Jubilee celebrations of the school was held in 1946 under the presidency of Panampilly Govinda Menon, then Education Minister of Travancore-Kochi. The candidates willing to be the part of this communication school need to fill an application form for the enrollment purposes. The registered candidates have to appear for a small personal interview and GD based on the recent topics provided by the head faculties. Further procedure is based on the results of the PI and GD.
Computer Lab The computer lab has 27 desktop computers and 3 laptops, updatead with the latest free software "Ubuntu".Our one system is Windows.The systems are connected with local area net work (LAN). The lab has broadband connection, which enables the students to have access of learning materials across the world. The use of information technology has radically changed the way our students learn, allowing them the opportunities to develop skills and competencies in a variety of ways and helps them to prepare for the future. AUDIO- VISUAL HALL Our UP& HS Audio - Visual Hall consists of TwoTV,DVD player, Two Projectors and Two screen. LIBRARY Our library service supports the school's mission and the educational and recreational needs of students and staff. The school libarary service is committed to the overall development of the independent learners and make them able to locate,detrive,utilize information with literary skills. The school library is open from 9.00 to 3.30 on all school days. Every day Malayalam and English News papers of that day is available in library
