SKR Engineering College established in the year 2001, is managed by Srinivasa Educational Trust. The College is situated on the Bangalore highway and is about 20 km from Chennai Central Railway station and Airport.
The College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The College is ISO 9001:2000 certified by TUV Germany for its quality educational Management System.
The College runs with the sole aim of imparting quality technical education to the students and to develop them into best Engineers, both in theory and practice. We do not Just confine with teaching Science and Technology of Engineering, but strive to crown it with an exercise to instill into each student the virtues and skills needed to make a difference in the world of tomorrow.

The Training and Placement Cell, in the true spirit of hands on exposure, facilitates various campus recruitment processes especially for the benefit of students. The Placement Cell continuously interacts with reputed organisations and private recruitment consultants for arranging campus interviews for the final year students.
Industry Institute Interaction Cell(IIIC) joins hands with the Training and Placement Cell to undertake Industry Visits, In-Plant trainig, R&D Projects, Guest Lecturers and Personality Development Programmes, which enhance the technical ability and various soft skills of the students and their exposure to the practical world.
