St. Joseph College was founded in the year 1882 by the Fathers of French Foreign Mission. St. Joseph College is one of the premier institutions in the state of Karnataka. From past 130 years the college is imparting a quality education to the aspirants of Karnataka. It was one of the five Bangalore Colleges that were awarded academic autonomy in the year 2005. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D courses to its students. Other than quality education, the college offers many facilities to its students like canteen, library, sports, placement cell etc.
