Ganjam Law College was established in the Academic Year 1983-1984 under the Provisions Of Society Registration Act1860. Under the initiation of Dr. Nalinikanta Samanta & with the help of the governing Members. The college obtained affiliation from Berhampur University and recognized by Bar Council Of India and Government of Orissa.
The college is imparting LL.B three years course and BBA, LL.B (Hons.), 5 years Integrated Course.
The Ganjam Law College is having its own three storied building in Ambapua Road, Berhampur Town, Orissa.The College is having adequate Library, Play ground and own bus facilities to carry students to the college from different parts of Berhampur town. The College is having highly qualified Principal Prof. (Dr.) N.S.J.Rao, B.Sc, M.A, LL.M, PhD (Law), D.Litt (Law) & adequate qualified teaching staffs and Non-teaching staffs.
