It is one of the premier institute Sikkim providing Pharmacy Courses in this state. It also started the Diploma courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the year 1990 and degree courses in the year 1997. It also provides various post graduated courses in the Pharmaceutical fields. The college is approved by Government of Sikkim and All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The college is recognized by PCI (Pharmacy council of India) and affiliated to Sikkim Central University. It has been accredited by IS0 9001:2008 and by IAO (International Accrediation organization). The college provides highly qualified and experienced teacher for the students. It also provides well established excellent infrastructure imcluding various facilities for the students for their comfort or bright future.
It has good placement record as the placement cell of this college has the objective to place all the final year or outgoing students in a well recognized and reputated industries situated through out India. The placement cell organizes many short term courses and training programmes for the students and co-ordinates with the repuatated organizations or industries for traioning and jobs.It has very active placement cell which provides assistance in placement. It provides placement in pharma industries like Unichem Laboratories, Tata Consultancy Services, Cipla, Ranbaxy etc.
