The Maharana Pratap Group of Insitutions has spread its wings to other major cities of Uttar Pradesh also after working satisfactorily in the field of education. The Group has established Maharana Institute of Technology & Sciences at Mohanlal Ganj, Lucknow with the same goal of achieving success in academic stream. .

  Maharana Institute of Technology & Sciences was established in the year 2008 on about 15 acres of land, with the aim of its expansion in the coming years.  It is located at Rae-Bareilly highway Lucknow   which is about 20 kms away from Charbagh railway station, Lucknow and 8 kms from SGPGI, Lucknow. This institute consists of administrative wing, academic wing, placement department, hostels for boys & girls, sport arenas, auditorium,  students activities centre etc.  Maharana Institute of Technology & Sciences is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. MITS has got a city office in Vineet Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow for correspondence and admission of students.  Institute has pride of having experienced faculty from various fields of Engineering and Basic Sciences.

 MITS possess excellent infrastructure equipped with modern labs consisting of latest equipments.

The college has air conditioned computer centre with HCL Pentium Dual Core laptops for the use of students. The MITS has a huge library with more than 7500 books with national & international journals. The library automation & software library system is being used to facilitate smooth functioning of library. Students being part of this institute is considered at par, in excellence and career oriented in order to seek a systematic academic qualification.

 Training & Placement Cell prepares students for placement as per following activities and brain storming sessions .

 8.  Placement of students in different companies for summer internship.

 9.  Maharana Pratap Group of Institutions (MPGI) formed Alumni Association with the objectives to share their experience with outgoing MPEC students.
