National Institute of Technology Durgapur was established in 1960 by Govt. of India.The institute is a university which offers B.Tech,M.C.A,MSc,MBA,M.Tech and Ph.d degrees programmes of undergraduate and post graduate.NIT-D has well equipped laboratories and infrastructure.The institute has well qualified faculties and staff to guide the students in a right way.The College also conduct extra curricular activities to skill development of the students and find hidden talent between the students.
