S.B.Jain Institute of Technology, Management & Research (SBJITMR) is the initiative of Shri Shantilalji Badjate, who devoted his lifetime to the field of education. His dream to build a world class educational infrastructure led to the beginning of Sir Shantilal Badjate Charitable Trust, Nagpur. SBJITMR is an ISO 9001-2008 Certified Institute and is approved by AICTE (New Delhi) & DTE (Mumbai), is affiliated to Nagpur University (RTMNU) and is recognized by Government of Maharashtra.
Placement Department is the most indispensable part which plays an important role in providing opportunities to the student by arranging Campus Interviews. In SBJITMR, the Training & Placement is highly supported by its teaching faculty of various departments. Prof. Anil Tijare is working as Training & placement Officer. The Training & Placement Department is in constant touch with various companies for imparting industrial training and campus placement.
The placement policies and other related activities are handled by T & P Officer in consultation with the Principal and the college management. Various departments and their nominated placement coordinators are involved in the process of contacting companies for recruitment. Placement coordinators are counselling the students on one to one basis about their career aspirations and any related queries. The placement office handles all aspects of campus placements. The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. Mission of T&P cell is to provide opportunities for Industry oriented training to all Students , impart appropriate training to students for making them Industry Ready, guide them for higher studies & motivate them to become Job givers instead of job seekers and ensure and provide 100 % Placement to needy students.
