arnataka, started the college for women in 1983, with a strength of 85 students. In the year 1984, the commerce faculty was introduced.

During the last 25 years, the college has made steady progress. As a result the strength of the students increased to 454. The Management is striving to develop the college into an excellent centre of higher education for women.

The college has adequate number of qualified and experienced teachers. The percentage of students passing in the University Examination is encouraging.

The college has been striving to inculcate the spirit of social service among the students through its N.S.S. & N.C.C. programmes. Some of our students have made a name in sports at National and International level.
