Eligibility:

1. The candidate must be an Indian national

2. The candidate must have passed BDS examination from a recognized dental college and should be registered with Dental Council of India after having completed one year of rotating internship

3. The candidate undergoing one year rotating internship training and likely to obtain final registration certificate from the Dental Council on or before 31st March, 2013 can also appear for the entrance test

4. Such candidates will be required to submit a certificate from the Principal/Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of their rotating internship training failing which their application will be treated as incomplete and shall be rejected

Entrance Test: The AIPGDET-2013 will be of 3 hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ)

Each correct answer will be awarded one mark

0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer

Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered

The entrance test shall be of the standard of BDS examination and shall cover all the subjects of BDS course

The AIPGDET shall be conducted at Ahmedabad

Hall Ticket: Hall ticket carrying photograph of the candidate shall be issued to the candidates who are eligible to appear for the entrance test

The candidate must submit two copies of his/her recent passport size photographs (not more than 3 months old) along with the application form

Candidates must write their name on the reverse side of the photograph

The hall ticket will be dispatched to the candidate by registered post/courier/speed post

Those who fail to receive the hall tickets by 31st January, 2013 must contact the admission office

Selection Procedure: The admission will be offered on the basis of merit-cum-choice

The candidate with higher merit will be given the choice of the branch and/or college as per availability

His/her claim for branch and/or college which are not available will be kept in the form of waiting list

In case of two or more candidates obtaining equal marks in the entrance examination, their inter se merit will be determined in order of preference; candidates obtaining higher aggregate marks in all the BDS professional examinations; according to age, the older one getting preference over the younger one

Application Form: The brochure and application form are available for Rs 4500/- (form fee Rs 1500/- plus entrance test fee Rs 3000/-)

This is payable only by demand draft drawn in favour of Consortium of Self Financed Dental Colleges of nationalized/scheduled bank payable at Ahmedabad

The candidate desirous of appearing for All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test of this Consortium will be required to submit the application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of applications

The form can also be downloaded from the Consortium’s website www.csfdcguj.in

The downloaded form is to be submitted along with demand draft of Rs 4500/- (form fee Rs 1500/- plus entrance test fee Rs 3000/-) drawn in favour of Consortium of Self Financed Dental Colleges of nationalized/ scheduled bank payable at Ahmedabad along with attested copies of the documents in support of applications

The candidate should write his/her name and address on the reverse side of the demand draft

The last date of availability and receipt of completed application form along with the requisite documents and entrance test fees at the office of Consortium is upto 05.00 p.m. on 19th January, 2013
