ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational qualification

The minimum educational qualification for the post of Constable shall be l0+2 for all categories.

Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit upto Matric standard


Age limit

18-25 years (On the first day of the month in which the applications are invited for the recruitment of Constable i.e on 01.02.2017).


Age relaxation

Note (i) :-For Ex-servicemen- the break in service between the date of discharge and between the 1st day of month(i.e. 01.02.2017) in which enrolment process is started. shall not exceed four years.

(ii) For the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Backward Class & economic Backward Persons of General Category relaxation in upper age Limit of 5 years shall be given.

The selection process will be based on-

  1. Physical screening test

Candidates           Distance            Qualifying time

Male                         5Km                      25 min

Female                   2.5 Km                    15 min

Ex-servicemen       2.5Km                     13 min


2. Knowledge test

An objective type Optical mark recognition(OMR) based written test of 60 marks shall be conducted of all those candidates who qualify the Physical Screening Test.


3. Physical Measurement Test

The candidates after PST, KT and the scrutiny of documents shall undergo Physical Measurement Test


4.Interview-cum-Personality test

After all the above tests candidates shall be called for interview-cum-Personality test.
