The examination date for SSC CGL Tier- I 2017 scheduled to be held on 19 June 2017- 2 July 2017.

Application Form

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for SSC CGL 2017 Exam. CGL application form can be filled through online mode only; online application form will be available at SSC official website www.ssconline.nic.in

Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. Candidates can submit fee through SBI challan/net banking and debit/credit card. No fee for women, SC/ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen.

Essential Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any academic course from a recognized University.
  • Applicants should be in the age group of 18 – 32 years depending on the type of post.
  • Reserved category candidates can avail certain relaxations in age as per the norms and conditions of the India Government.

Exam is objective type and will be conducted online.

 

Pattern of Examination: 

The examination will be conducted in three tiers as mentined below-

 (A)Tier-I:

There are 100 questions for 200 marks and exam duration will be 75 minutes (100 minutes for VH) .

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

 Written Examination(100 Obective Multiple Choice Type question)- 200 marks

  • General Intelligence Reasoning(25 question)  -     50 marks.
  • General Awareness (25 question)                       -     50 marks.
  • Quantative Aptitude   (25 question)                     -     50 marks.
  • English Comprehension (25 question)               -     50 marks.
  • Duration: 2 hours
     

 (B)Tier-II:

 Written Examination(Objective Multiple Choice Type)-400 marks

  • Quantitative Ablities-200 marks(2 hours)
  • English Language & Comprehension-200 marks(2 hours)
  • Proficiency/Skill Test

 NOTE:Selections are made on the basis of Written Examination precribed for different post and Proficiency Test After this Merit List of the selected candidate all over the India will be prepared by the Commission.
