AIPMT 2014 News update

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was included in 2013 as a substitute of AIPMT but from next year means from 2014 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to follow the previous trend of medical entrance exam pattern. AIPMT is scheduled to be held on 4th May 2014.

The only dissimilarity between the AIPMT 2014 exam and NEET 2013 is the 15% national quota in government medical/dental colleges across India. And the similarity is that students will have to appear for the same single entrance exam. Examination pattern will be same that will contain 180 objective type questions from Biology (Botany and Zoology), Chemistry and Physics. There will be 45 questions from each of the subjects.

The syllabus for the NEET and AIPMT will be the same. Hence students should not be confused with the exam pattern. AIPMT 2014 will be the source of admissions into the participating Institute in AIPMT 2014.
