Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology inks pact with Trinity College London

 Bhubaneswar based Kalinga Institute Of Industrial Technology (KIIT) University on Saturday announced that it has inked pact with Trinity college , London to impart English Language training to the students and teachers. The memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between KIIT registrar Sasmita Samanta and national manager Trinity College , London BM Mohammad Ali two days ago at KIIT campus in Bhubaneswar ,a senior KIIT official said.  The ares of cooperation include the training of KIIT 's teachers , the design of curriculum and the assesment of students. 

 

Trinity's expert examiners will assess the student's proficiency in English and the successful students will be awarded an internationally recognised Trinity qualification it said. This MOU will enable KIIT to become a registered for Trinity language examinations. It will get online acess to the registerd and approved examinations centres of Trinity College , it said.  The  MOU is an important step forward to make students of KIIT proficient in English, a necessary skill to succed in global business environment. , KIIT founder A Samanta said.

The skill will be vital for success in a competitive global economy. Trinity executive Sarah Kemp said.  Trinity College London is a leading international examination board offering qualification in a unique spectrum of communication skills, ranging from music , drama, and art activities to english language at all levels. 

 

Each year more than 600,000 candidates in over 60 countries take a trinity assesment.
