The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2013 will be conducted for admission to the undergraduate programme for 14 National Law Universities and also for the post-graduate programme (LL.M) for admission to NLSIU, NALSAR, NLIU, WBNUJS, HNLU, GNLU, RMLNLU, CNLU and RGNUL.
The details of intake, reservation, courses offered along with the fee structure and further details can be had from the website of concerned University.
CLAT 2013 IMPORTANT DATES
The important dates for CLAT-2013
CLAT 2013 Exam Dates/ Notification:-
Exam Date:- 12th May 2013 (sunday)
Time 03:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.
Online application facility will also be available from 15th January 2013
The CLAT-2013 is being conducted by Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur
The above dates are tentative and the Convenor, CLAT reserves the right to change the dates as per contingencies and requirement
UNDER-GRADUATE PROGRAMME
Eligibility: 10+2 examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks for general and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwD
Age limit: Not more than 20 years in case of General/OBC category and 22 years in case of SC/ST/PwD as on 01st July, 2012
POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMME
The CLAT-2013 for the post-graduate programme (LL.M) will be applicable for admission to NLSIU, NALSAR, NLIU, WBNUJS, HNLU, GNLU, RMLNLU and RGNUL only. For NLU, Jodhpur and Cochin candidates are required to apply separately to that University.
Eligibility: 55% marks in aggregate in LL.B/B.L (50% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC/PwD
*Subject to state reservation at the University concerned.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply for the Test. But candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission.
CLAT result will be published through merit lists prepared on the basis of overall merit, preference-wise, gender-wise, state-wise and reservationwise. (SC/ST/OBC/PWD). A candidate whose name figures in more than one list will be given a choice after the declaration of the CLAT- 2011 result to unconditionally and irrevocably choose from any of the lists through which they want to seek admission within a stipulated time.
