Goa: The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has announced the datesheets for the HSSLC (Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Examination for both General and Vocational Streams.

Examinations for General stream according to the new as well as old pattern are scheduled to start from March 7, 2012 and will conclude on March 24, 2012.

For Vocational stream, examination will commence on March 7, 2012 and continue till March 20, 2012.

To facilitate the students of Goa with the latest information related to education, National Network of Education (NNE) has compiled this easy-to-follow section containing the Exam Schedules of the Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) (Old & New Pattern) for H.S.S.C. (General & Vocational Streams ) Examination 2012.

Last Dates of Submission of Applications in The Board's Office

New NCERT Syllabus/Text (2007 – 08 onwards)(General/Vocational Stream):

• Without Late Fees: 22/11/2011 (Tuesday)
• With Late Fees: 07/12/2011 (Wednesday)
• Time-Barred Applications: 22/12/2011 (Thursday)

For candidates appearing at March/April 2012 as the first attempt, question papers of 80 marks in non practicals subjects and 55 marks question papers for practical subjects will be set.

GBSHSE HSSC New Pattern Date Sheet 2012
General Stream (Arts, Science & Commerce)

Please Note:

1. The candidates may please note that the examination on each day starts at 10.00 a.m.

2. The date and hour of commencement of examination of respective subject should be carefully noted by the Heads of the Institution and informed to the candidate/s concerned.

3. The exact sub centres/places where the examination will be held at each centre will be announced at the concerned centre.

4. The candidates must be present at the places of examination at 09.30 a.m.Late arrival beyond 30 minutes after the commencement of examination in each subject shall disqualify the candidates from appearing at the said examination.

5. Under no circumstances examinations shall be postponed, even though any day is declared a public holiday.

General Stream (Arts, Science & Commerce)

Please Note:

2. The exact sub centres/places where the examination will be held at each centre will be announced at the concerned centre.

3. The candidates must be present at the places of examination at 09.30 a.m.Late arrival beyond 30 minutes after the commencement of examination in each subject shall disqualify the candidates from appearing at the said examination.

4. The Practical Examination will commence from Friday 10th February, 2012. However, the detailed programme of the Practical Examination will be notified later through the Heads of Institutions. The candidates are advised that they should get the same ascertained, in good time, from the Heads of Institutions.

5. Under no circumstances examinations shall be postponed, even though any day is declared a public holiday.


GBSHSE HSSC (Vocational) Date Sheet 2012

Please Note:

1. The candidates may please note that the examination on each day starts at 10.00 a.m.

2. The date and hour of commencement of examination of respective subjects should be carefully noted by the Heads of the Institution and informed to the candidate/s concerned.

3. The exact sub centres/places where the examination will be held at each centre will be announced at the concerned centre.

4. The candidates must be present at the places of examination at 9.30 a.m. Late arrival beyond 30 minutes after the commencement of examination in each subject shall disqualify the candidates from appearing at the said examination.

5. The Audit for regular students will commence from Monday 16th January, 2012. The Oral and practical examination for repeaters in respect of Higher Secondary Schools where the courses have been started for the first/second year will commence from Monday 10th February, 2012. However the detailed programme of the Audit and Practical Examination for regular and repeater students will be notified later through the Heads of Institutions. The candidates are advised that they should get the same ascertained, in good time, from the Heads of Institution.

6. Nomenclature in Book-keeping & Accountancy shall be read as Accountancy (Book-keeping & Accountancy) by candidates opting the same as additional subject.

7. Under no circumstances examination shall be postponed, even though any day is declared a public holiday.
