Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932. Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933. It possessed a strenght of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys(litetally, air soldiers).

Qualification/Educational Criteria: 

Candidates who wish to apply for this post must posess the following skill and criteria: Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with Mtahematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.): 

Selected candiate would be eligible to get  the pay scale around Rs.7,050/-
 

Genral Medical Standards:

Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Corneal Surgery not Acceptable.
Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meter with each ear separately,
Dental: Should have haelthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
Health: Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate anr terrain.
